It has been a while since I’ve written a blog. I am not 32 weeks pregnant and telling everyone I have 4 weeks left. At least, that is what I feel. I had Jordan at 36 weeks. Who’s to say that the 2nd won’t come out as early? The last blog I wrote was about a crib. We decided not to get the crib. We moved Jordan to a toddler bed purchased from Lullaby Lane and he easily transitioned into that. He is also off the pacifier and drinks solely from a sippy cup. He is really a toddler now. However, I am giving away our Avent bottles. I have read various articles about BPA free products and want to switch bottles for Baby #2. Plus I figure that if Baby #2 is on a different bottle, then Jordan won't have bottle envy. I was looking into the Medela, Born Free and Dr. Brown's bottles. Medela unfortunately only has one size and it comes in a 3-pack. Great for pumping, but I've read reviews of the bottle leaking. Born Free BPA-free bottles are in high demand right now. Lullaby Lane is completely out of stock; Babies 'R' Us goes through their weekly shipments quick. I've heard people complain that you can't use the Born Free bottles when using the Medela pump, but I've been on the Born Free website and they have an accessory that you can attach to the wide Born Free bottle so that it can attach to most breast pumps. With the Dr. Brown, I've read alot of people complaining about the amount of time it takes to clean the various parts of the bottle. I don't want to deal with that. So I've registered us for Born Free bottles. Hopefully they will be available at the stores we're registered at.
Luckily all the sippy cups that Jordan has are BPA free, so no worries there. I'm hoping with all these changes I'm implementing (gDiapers, BPA free drinking devices, Mustela lotion, breastfeeding) that baby #2 does not get eczema and that Jordan's eczema goes away.
