Last week I attempted to talk to Bank of America about a loan modification.
I was denied. They told me to refinance.
However, my rates are so good I don't want to refinance with the current interest rates. Our first mortgage does not change interest rates until November 2010, which gives me two years.
My husband and I have our financial goals set and I feel confident that we will be okay. I'm also praying that our income increases somehow. I'm going to attempt to get my choir job back. I hear discontentment among some of the children and parents. It's nice to know I am missed.
Today my youngest son is 10 weeks and 1 day. It has taken me 10 weeks to finally get adjusted into some type of schedule (although I have not returned to work yet). I'm starting to learn my son's habits and patterns. I know when he's hungry, when he needs to be held, and when he's sleepy but cannot put himself to sleep. He's learning, as well as I am. My two boys are very different from each other, but I think that is what is going to make their bond strong. One is a yin; the other a yan. My eldest is very loving toward his baby brother. He kisses and baby talks with him all the time. I can see them growing up together almost like twins. They may get into mischief, but they'll also have each others' back. I'm glad my husband and I decided to have our kids close in age.
For the second time since I've been home with both boys have I been able to get them both to take naps at the same time. If I can get the boys to learn how to take naps at the same time, it will make it much easier for my mother-in-law when she watches them upon my return to work. Luckily I'm a teacher, so my work day is not as long as others.
Life was really hectic the first 10 weeks. But now that I look back, I can't believe the 10 weeks have flown by so fast. I have found peace and contentment.
